Applications of Third-generation Sequencing Technology in Omics Research
In recent years, the emerging third-generation single-molecule, long-read sequencing technology has been increasingly widely applied in various omics research fields, including genomics, transcriptomics, epigenomics, and epitranscriptomics. The speaker has long been dedicated to the development of experimental techniques and computational tools based on third-generation sequencing technology, as well as its application in the study of reproduction and development. Drawing on their own practical experience, the speaker will systematically review the development history, data characteristics, technical methods, and recent advances of third-generation sequencing technology, with a focus on its unique advantages in various omics studies and its potential application areas.
