昆虫系统学原理

 

学术成就

       围绕昆虫的物种多样性与食性分化,以高级阶元系统发育为工作主体,从两个层面开展昆虫系统学研究。一个层面,基于系统性的野外采集、比较形态学、经典分类学、高质量数据生成、分子系统发育方法论改进、现生与化石类群整合,进行可靠的系统发育重建。另一个层面,基于可靠的系统发育重建结果,通过分歧时间推断、祖征重建、微生物群落、比较基因组学、功能基因挖掘与验证,展示分类与系统发育对于生态Eco-进化Evo-发育Devo整合研究的多重价值。
       2017年以来,以中国西部和南部边疆边境区域为主体进行了系统性的野外考察和标本采集,行程超过12万公里,遍及内蒙古、新疆、西藏、青海、四川、云南、广西、广东、海南、三沙、香港、福建、台湾、浙江。发现并报道海蝽科、涯蝽科、丝蝽科等中国新记录科,以及羚羊礁海蝽、西沙涯蝽、版纳丝蝽等新种。以完整的总科阶元代表类群重建了半翅目亚目间关系和异翅亚目的次目间关系,明确了蝽类昆虫起源、特化的古生态学驱动因素为二叠纪地球历史上最高的大气氧含量;其中植食性类群处于冠群地位,科级类群快速分化于白垩纪早期,生态驱动因素为被子植物适应辐射。植食性蝽类为两次进化起源,其中盲蝽总科的植食性起源于肉食性祖先、转变强烈,主力共生细菌主要是胞内共生菌Wolbachia,蝽总科、缘蝽总科、红蝽总科、长蝽总科的植食性起源于杂食性祖先、转变相对温和,主力共生细菌更具多样性。研究工作以边疆区系科考、分子系统发育方法论改进、多组学数据联用与功能基因挖掘为研究特色。
       作为通讯作者或第一作者在Cladistics,Microbiome,Molecular Phylogenetics and Evolution,Protein & Cell, Systematic Entomology等高水平学术期刊及分类学主流期刊发表SCI论文40余篇,他引600余次,其中被Annual Review of Entomology,ISME J,Molecular Cell,Molecular Plant,Science等Top期刊正面他引150次。出版有《进化生物学》(2010,高等教育出版社)和《现代动物分类学导论》(2012,科学出版社)。国际蝽类昆虫学会(International Heteropterists’ Society)终身会员,Willi Hennig学会终身会员。2012 年获得欧洲半翅目学会约瑟夫奖(Award in Honor of Michail Josifov),2006年获得国际蝽类昆虫学会首届安德森奖(Nils Møller Anderson Award)。2016年12月受邀赴巴西国家博物馆做邀请报告。2021年受邀作为捷克国家自然科学基金国际评审。
