研究方向

行为生态与保护生物学

本实验室以多种灵长类动物和水獭为主要研究对象,结合3S技术、营养生态学、保护生物学和行为生态学的理论和研究方法,重点研究其觅食、移动、通讯、群大小和配偶制的进化,并希望忠实记录这些濒危物种的分布和种群动态变化(document pattern),深入了解各种致危因素和濒危机制(understand mechanism),结合文献计量学科学评估各种保护措施的有效性(evaluate effectiveness),通过有效的科学研究和保护实践让这些濒危动物在中国拥有一个光明的未来。

学术成就

范朋飞,男,中山大学生命科学学院教授,博导,中国灵长类学分会副理事长,兽类学会理事,动物生态学专业委员会委员,保护生物学会委员,世界自然保护联盟长臂猿专家组专家。命名了白颊猕猴和天行长臂猿两个新物种;在国内首次实现了长臂猿习惯化,并在此基础上发现了长臂猿的捕食、舞蹈和规划行为,解析了合唱和一夫二妻群的维持机制;并且长期致力于我国长臂猿的科普宣传和保护实践。以第一作者或通讯作者在Cell(封面论文),Nature Ecology & Evolution, One Earth (2023, 2026), Science Advance, Current Biology(封面论文),Nature Communications, NSR等相关领域的旗舰期刊上发表SCI论文100余篇,先后获得教育部新世纪优秀人才,中组部青年拔尖计划,国家基金委青A(原杰青)和青B(原优青)项目资助。2021年获得中国动物学会长隆奖。
